Jock Stein died on
the 10th October in 1985. He began his managerial career at
Dunfermline Athletic, where he pulled the team up from near
relegation to win the Scottish Cup in 1960. He was fondly
regarded as Scotland's best manager and under him the Scottish
side qualified for the World Cup finals in Spain in 1982. To
