At The Terrace, the Sunshine Coast comes alive with authentic recipes, generous helpings and warm country hospitality. There is nothing like soul-satisfying fresh Queensland food, and those who are lucky to live on the Sunshine Coast will know the produce available is the freshest and of high quality. At The Terrace we have embraced the community, and where possible local produce is featured, such as in the tantalising Eye Fillet with Fresh Red Claw Yabbies and Pink Peppercorn Jus, the yabbies are supplied fresh from the Conondale area, bringing the Sunshine Coast to your table.

Cabernet
Sauvignon 2002

Ingredients:
4 portions truffled mash
16 asparagus spears
4 x 250g eye fillet steaks
Julienne asian veg
Pink peppercorn jus
4 Conondale red claw yabbies
8 green deveined prawns
garlic

Cut and seal beef to m-r, rest for 5 minutes. Cut yabbies in half and seal without cleaning in a hot pan with prawns for 45 seconds each side and season well. Plate mash, sauteed greens and asparagus. Place beef atop mash and finish with garlic prawns and yabbies. Drizzle jus around dish and garnish with fried leeks.
